I sent a message, heart in my hand, Just a small thing, hope you understand. Watched the screen, saw you online, One minute passed, but you took your time. I ain’t asking for forever, just a moment in your day, But silence hits much louder when there’s nothing left to say. No regrets, but I feel the weight, Of words unspoken, left too late. Maybe someday you’ll look my way, But I won’t be there to wait. I sent a message, heart in my hand, Now I’m learning where I stand.
